Photography Session (Studio + Location) £120

Shorter sessions, costing £65, available evening and weekends - contact me to check availability.

What I aim to provide, what you may expect:

You should allow approximately 2 hours for your photo shoot.  It might not take this long, but, if necessary, we will spend longer.  Weather permitting, we have the option to take some photographs outside: within a short distance is a choice of green environments (Dulwich Park and Brockwell Park, in particular) and urban settings, such as Brixton.

I will provide you with a proofing gallery from which you can select up to 10 images, which will be appropriately processed and cropped until you are entirely happy with the results.  Unless specified by you, each of the final shots will be provided in Print-Ready-Sharpened 300dpi, High-Res general purpose 144dpi and Web-Ready 72dpi versions.  A black and white copy of each final photo is included.  Files are downloaded from a password protected client gallery on this website, from which you can also order hard copies.

Please see my Headshot and Portrait portfolio for a fuller range of shots.

General advice for your photo shoot:

Think about, in discussion with friends and colleagues, the sort of looks you wish to achieve.  To this end:

  • If you have had headshots taken before, please bring them along so we can discuss what you liked or disliked about them, as a starting point for the session.

  • Subtle make-up, if any, and un-fussy tops work best.

  • Usually, it is best to wear shades of classic colours: white, grey, blue, red, brown, green.

  • Do bring a formal outfit – dinner jacket / evening dress, if you wish.

  • I have a hair dryer, hair straighteners, ironing board (with iron) and sundries available for you to use.
  • Men – you may wish to change your look with a shave – facilities are available for you to shave during the shoot.

  • Women – if you would like to alter your make up during the shoot, I advise you to arrive sporting your ‘natural’ look and to add more make up later in the shoot.  Having said this, should you wish to begin with a more fully made up look, you will be able to remove make up during the shoot.

  • Please do not cancel a session if you happen to wake up with a pimple on the day – such annoyances are easily fixed in processing!
