Portraits: Individuals, Couples and Groups - from £120

Shorter sessions, costing £65, available evening and weekends. Contact me to check availability.

A portrait session can last up to 2 hours, more if needed, and can be in my studio and/or a location of your choice.  I will provided you with a password protected gallery of your photos, from which you may select your favourites, which will be polished, processed and delivered in a variety of resolutions depending on your requirements.  Finished images are downloaded from a password protected client gallery on this website, from which you can also order high quality prints.

Please feel free to wear whatever you like and to bring different outfits if you want a variety of looks (formal or informal for example), a private changing room is available for studio sessions.

Some photographs look good if they include a personal ‘prop’ such as a child’s favourite book, toy, a sign with the date or message etc.  Please do bring such items along if you wish.

Please see my Portrait portfolio for a fuller range of shots.

General advice for your photo shoot:

  • Rule of thumb - ask yourself: 'am I likely to like this outfit/hairstyle in 10 years?'

  • Families and couples - try to coordinate to a subtle degree

  • Classic lines - T-shirts are good, shirts, polo shirts, shift dress etc.

  • Usually, it is best to wear shades of classic colours: white, grey, blue, red, brown, green.

  • Children - favourite party dress is fine but dressing-up clothes (Disney princess for example) can date quickly.

  • Hair - away from face

  • Subtle make up

  • Unless it is your preference, I would avoid anything too high fashion

  • Avoid looking overly ‘dressed up’ (for a party)

  • Avoid fussy cuts and ruffles etc.

  • Try to avoid dangly earrings, statement jewellery and reflective items.
